In-house projects were initiated by other enterprises of the Grameen family which have received investment financing from Grameen fund.

Grameen Knitwear Ltd.

Established in 1997, Grameen Knitwear Ltd is a 100% export oriented composite knitwear project with knitting, dyeing, finishing and garment production facilities. Its factory situated at E.P.Z, Savar has a state of the art machinery. Western Europe and USA are the main markets for its products. The percentage of share of Grameen Fund in this company’s equity is 32%.

Products: Export oriented knit garments and other knit products.

Grameen Capital Management Ltd. (GCML)

Grameen Fund entered into the field of merchant banking by partnering with Grameen Kalyan (in the ratio of 75% and 25%) in the formation of Grameen Capital Management Ltd (GCML) in 1998. GCML’s main focus is to encourage entrepreneurship and facilitate the development of a modern capital market.

Products/Services: Portfolio management, underwriting, capital issue management, mutual fund, corporate advisory services etc.
